The Hawthorn Pavilion is a small garden building designed to sit quietly within the grounds of a significant heritage home. Positioned alongside the existing tennis court, the pavilion is conceived as a simple, low-lying structure that accommodates a golf simulator and space for entertaining.
A restrained palette of Krause brick, steel and glass gives the building a sense of permanence, while its proportions, detailing and relationship to the landscape allow it to remain deliberately secondary to the original house.
